The International Student Congress Of (bio)Medical Sciences (ISCOMS) is one of the world’s leading student congresses in the field of (bio)medical sciences. The 26th edition of ISCOMS will take place from the 3rd until the 7th of June 2019 in the University Medical Center of Groningen, the Netherlands. Last year’s congress was a great success with 959 participants attending from all over the world.
ISCOMS offers students the opportunity to present their research. Besides this, students can take part in interactive workshops and get inspired by lectures presented by a few of the best scientists worldwide. The keynote speakers of this year’s congress are:
- Prof. Mario Capecchi PhD (Mouse models of human disease from cancer to neuropsychiatric disorders)
- Prof. Henning Schliephake MD DDS PhD (Tissue engineering: Fact or Fiction?)
- Prof. Andrea B. Maier MD PhD (The future of age)
- Prof. Hein A.M. Daanen MD PhD (Preparation for exercise in extreme heat and cold)
