A lactation room has been handed over at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

11 February 2020

A lactation room available to outpatients too has been handed over at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Mothers who have any problems with breastfeeding are also expected at the breastfeeding outpatient clinic. Specialists help the mothers who can receive answers to all their questions.

The Department has established the service available to outpatients as well from their own resources because more and more mothers indicated that although they would like to breastfeed their babies, it is not so easy for them.

Professor Miklós Koppán, Head of the Department said in connection with the new room, which has been handed over recently that the department's specialists will be able to provide practical, tangible help to those who turn to them.

At the breastfeeding outpatient clinic, mothers who would like to change the diapers or feed their babies are also welcome, and the cultured conditions ensure all that.
