The 4D Anatomy software is a novel multidimensional interactive teaching tool for surgical anatomy creating a learning environment closest to actual lab dissections. Its use provides the users unique capabilities, including pan and tilt, layer by layer access to the photographic dissection images. Through the use of stereoscopic imaging, the interactive anatomy software enables the user to experience three dimensional cadaver dissection with the added benefit of time: the fourth dimension of the interactive anatomy atlas.
